Degrees of Specificity

A lesser writer would be vague. He would say that I am drinking some good alcohol, reading a fine book, and listening to some rough vernacular music. A good writer would tell you that I am drinking a beer, reading Ernest Hemingway, and listening to Tom Waits. A writer who would be on his way to greatness would he only write more often is telling you I am drinking Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, reading For Whom The Bell Tolls, and listening to Small Change, after a long, hard day's work.

I hope you are in such a good place.

WIth Love and Squalor,
